Recharge with the New BeautyRest Matresses

20130417_141929The new mattresses from BeautyRest have arrived. They really look good and they feel even better. BeautyRest has redesigned their new line of innerspring mattresses for 2013. All of them, from the basic model to the fanciest, feature the new AirCool technology that was introduced out in their premier Black and TruEnergy lines last year.

All have the AirCool, breathable foams, the mesh side panels with the ventilated sides and now many of the models have the cool gel foams as well.

These beds are designed to give you a good night’s sleep to recharge your life.

“Recharging sleep comes from the perfect combination of conforming back support and temperature control found in all Beautyrest mattresses.”

The Recharge beds feature AirCool foams and 800 pocketed coils in the queen size. Some models add the AirCool memory foam.

The Recharge World Class steps up to 1,000 coils in the queen size and this is where they introduce the new TruTemp gel foams. These are the foams that absorbs, stores and releases excess warmth to help keep you in a comfortable temperature zone.

With queen size sets starting at $699 and topping out at just $1799 the beds are a great value. If you get a chance to come in please wonder up to 3rd floor and check them out. I think you will be impressed.

The spring rains have come and Cedar Rapids is now officially no longer in the drought zone. Let’s hope we make it through the summer.

Sleep well and enjoy.

Bed bugs and Bean Leaves

I know that nobody likes to even think about bedbugs but the reality is that they are making a come back. As insecticide resistant varieties have evolved the bed bug is returning to our bedrooms.

We carry bug proof mattress encasements that are effective in solving this problem but scientists are studying new methods in bedbug control.

Here is a good article from the New York Times about an old Eastern European folk remedy that may be making a come back as well. Bean leaves as bug traps – Who would have known? I think we could find bean leaves in Iowa.

Will spring ever arrive?
